2016 SERVPRO SCHOLARSHIP
SERVPRO of Lane County through the generous contributions of local businesses, national and statewide business partners and community members has raised $11,000 for the SERVPRO® Scholarship Fund.
Hosting its 7th annual customer appreciation dinner and auction at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, the company will donate the entire proceeds to the scholarship fund. Through a silent auction, 50/50 contests and raffle drawings, SERVPRO® guests made charitable purchases on a range of items from gift baskets to a package trip to Las Vegas.
For a private gathering, we are once again thrilled at the success of this year’s event,” said SERVPRO® Marketing Manager and Sutherlin Club Rotarian, Trever Kinney. “Tim and Nikole Clark – SERVPRO of Lane County owners – truly know how to treat their employees, as well as their business partners, and giving back to our community is their way of saying ‘thank you’. This event has become a fun and entertaining evening, and to raise money for local education is a bonus.”
The Sutherlin-based company, which specializes in fire and water cleanup and restoration, started the SERVPRO® Scholarship Fund in 2014 to benefit students enrolled in the Fire Science Program at Umpqua Community College. This year’s donation is expected to provide three, full-year tuition scholarships.
